If You Can Fly

Written by Jacob Keplinger & Justin Siegel

If you don’t wanna change your mind
Then why’re you thinking all the time?
You’re afraid of what’s inside you
If you don’t wanna stay at home
Then why’d you get a degree staying with your mum
You don’t want to walk away from
What you know and where your heart’s from
But if you think it’s not a problem
Then you should see the light
Oh, open up your eyes

If you can drive, then why don’t you drive?
If you can make it one more day, then you’ll survive
If you can fly, then why don’t you fly?
If you can fly, then why don’t you fly high

If you don’t wanna run away
Then why’re you always on the look for places to stay
You can’t deal with your issues
So maybe you should skip town
Get a ticket for a Massachusetts-set Greyhound
You don’t need to do it alone
Can’t some people be your real home?
Or are you too stuck in your smartphone
That you can’t see the light
Oh, open up your eyes

If you can drive, then why don’t you drive?
If you can make it one more day, then you’ll survive
If you can fly, then why don’t you fly?
If you can fly, then why don’t you fly high

If you can drive, then why don’t you drive?
If you can make it one more day, then you’ll survive
If you can fly, then why don’t you fly?
If you can fly, then why don’t you fly high
Fly high
If you can fly, then why don't you fly?
If you can fly, then why don't you fly high
